Montserrat Viladrich Grau is an Associated Professor at Universitat de Lleida. Her research focuses on environmental economics, in the areas of regulation, policy analysis and valuation of environmental externalities. Now she is studding the role of social approval as reward mechanism that favor both, the pervasiveness of cooperating behavior and the sustainable management of common property resources. She is also working in identifying the economic consequences of climate change in the Spanish agriculture and in evaluating the economic viability of using renewable resources to produce energy.
